Conspiracy 365 -February (Book Review)

7066724

So as you know I read the first book and it left me with a cliff hanger.  I was happy to dive into reading this book and figure out what in the world happened to Cal.  It is no spoiler that he lives because he is in every book.

Not telling you what happened or how he got out of his almost demise but I will tell you it will keep you on the edge of your seat and your heart racing.  In this next book Cal meets a girl.  He thinks she is beautiful, but she works with the bad guys.  He thinks he can trust her.  His best friend Bodges on the other hand has warned him to be careful.  Bodges thinks that this girl could be setting him up.

Now I might not have mentioned Bodges in my previous review but he is of course Cal’s best friend.  If it wasn’t for Bodges then Cal would be dead or at least caught.  He has supplied Cal with money and food.  He also is a gadget genius. Bodges fixes everything from an untraceable phone so they can keep contact, to a laptop they decided they would use to make a profile for Cal.

The profile was put up to try to prove that he is innocent.  He also has people respond to his profile that he is lying or that they do believe him. Remember I mentioned the girl in the story well she shows up a few times through this book.  Her name is Winter.  She is actually adopted by one of the people who is out to get Cal.  She seems like she is there to help.  She helped him figure out the one drawing that Cal’s dad drew. Well some of it any way.  Bodges still says not to trust her.

So towards the end of the book Cal meets up with a lion at the zoo and then is chased by one of the bad guys.  Of course in the end he is once again stuck in a very bad spot. So you have to read on to book 3 which is March.

I got carried away last night and kept reading.  I got half way through March!  Let’s just say these books will keep you on the edge of your seat because you never know what bad luck will fall on Cal again.

Do you have any books that you would recommend?  I would love to hear what books you like.  This is one of the series I am currently reading. I am also reading Ranger’s Apprentice. I am trying to keep up with my kids who seem to read a lot faster than me.
